Meurer Research Completes Expansion: Moves to Larger Plant, Adds High Precision Laster, Debuts New Logo

To Meet Demand, Company Increases Capacity in Golden, CO
Adds the Most Advanced Metal Cutting and Fabrication Technology Available

GOLDEN, COLO — May 26, 2015— Meurer Research, Inc., (MRI) an engineering and manufacturing company with over 50 patents and thousands of installations of advanced water and wastewater equipment, today announced the completion of its move to a larger manufacturing facility in Golden, Colorado, and the addition of high precision laser cutting and fabrication equipment. To mark the beginning of this new chapter, the company also unveiled a new logo.

The expansion is the result of strong and growing demand for the 37-year-old company’s advanced, proprietary water and wastewater treatment equipment.

With the move, MRI has added the most advanced, high tech metal fabrication equipment available to its manufacturing process and increased its production capacity. The new equipment includes high-precision laser-cutting technology and computer numerical controlled (CNC) pressbrake metal bending system —  highly accurate fabricating machines that increase production speed and accuracy.

“Innovation has always been foremost in the engineering and manufacturing of our products. With the recent advancements in metal fabrication, we are taking the next leap forward by adding this new, high precision production technology to our manufacturing process,” says Lonnie Meurer, President, MRI.

Known for optimized treatment equipment that delivers exceptional reliability and performance, the broadened manufacturing capabilities enable the company to make a larger selection of parts in-house, providing increased control over specifications and delivery schedule. In addition, component design now can be more complex, taking the overall design of MRI’s treatment equipment to an even higher standard.

In celebration of the company’s positive future outlook, MRI introduced a new blazing red, boldly lettered company logo. “The logo signifies this advancement in our manufacturing and our commitment to continued innovation in our products and processes,” says Meurer.

A re-fresh of the company’s website will be completed this summer.
